The Khanda - is the symbol of the Sikh, it reflects some of the fundamental concept of Sikhism. The symbol derives its name from the double-edged sword which appears at the center of the logo. This double-edged sword is a metaphor of Divine knowledge, its sharp edges cleaving truth from falsehood. The circle around the Khanda is the Chakar. The Chakar being a circle without a beginning or an end symbolizes the perfection of God who is eternal. The chakar is surrounded by two curved swords called Kirpans. These two swords symbolize the twin concepts of Meeri&Peeri. Temporal & Spiritual authority introduced by Guru Hargobind Sahib ji. They indicate that a sikh must place equal emphasis on spiritual aspirations as well as obligations to society.

This sacred quote is taken from the Swaiyaof Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Determination (nishchai) is the act of coming to a decision or fixing or settling a purpose. It is pursuing a goal with energy and focus. If we believe in ourselves and have the courage and will to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile- goal can be achieved. With determination come strong will, optimism and a good set of priorities. It is among the most important traits a person can bear and a leading factor in success. Determination takes pride, ambition, aspiration and strength. If we have the ability to do something, we should take the initiative to put determination into it. Great works are performed not by strength bur perseverance. Failure will never overtake us if our determination to succeed is strong enough as winners are ordinary people with extra ordinary determination. By being determined, we are opening the door for a better tomorrow, future achievement and overall happiness in our life. We should pray to God to grant the boon that we may never falter in performing righteous action and certainly become Victorious.
